Game Night {Bears vs Babies}

We are switching things up a little today.

Of course since we unboxed these games yesterday we have had to play them a zillion times.

And since I am sure a lot of you have kids who like to play games. Or maybe you liked to play games and make your kids play them with you. Either way, playing card and board games is a great way to spend time together with your family.

Liam and I thought we would do a little review of one of the games.

So we introduce to you Bears vs. Babies.

For starters….the game comes in the most unique and fun furry container (that is the most appropriate way I could describe it, haha).

5 stars for the packaging!

The objective is to build up your army of monsters so you can defeat the enemy babies!

The game includes a variety of “monster parts” that can be stitched together into odd (and hilarious) creatures as well as silly enemy baby cards that are laying in the midst to attack your monsters! There is also a selection of “bonus” cards that can give you extra strength or other advantages.

Players take turns taking “actions” while building up there army of monsters.

Or provoking the babies to attack!

At the end of the game the winner is the person who has won the most battles with the babies.

It’s silly and ridiculous but honestly quite a lot of fun!

Here are a few of the crazy monsters we put together…..

including “A piggy carrying a knife-cat who wears terrific boots”.

And a “Pomeranian of light and wonder in a prom dress on a peg leg”.

And a “Beaver wearing a festive turtleneck who sucks at dancing”.

Did I mention the game is kind of ridiculous and definitely the source of some laughter.

There is a bit of a learning curve to get to know to rules of the game but once you have a round under your belt it is quite easy to play. It is rated for ages 10+ but Liam is 8 and had no problem grasping the concept and he had a blast putting together his monsters.

Another great bonus is the game is just the perfect length to play. It holds everyones attention and doesn’t go on forever and ever.

Liam scores this game 5 out of 5 stars and I score this game 4 out of 5 stars.

It is definitely geared more towards the younger crowd which is perfect if you are looking for a unique and fun way to spend some time with your kids!

I would love to know if anyone else has tried out this game and what you think.

Cheers,

Kimberley

PS. I was definitely not paid for this review, it was just Liam and myself having some fun playing a new game and wanted to share our experience!
