Spring is finally here and we are getting temps in the low to mid 20’s (Celsius)!! I have already seen quite a few people sportin’ there capri’s and shorts……still haven’t dug mine out of the back of the closet yet but soon, very soon! Obviously today’s style board is inspired by the warmer weather, it’s relaxed and casual yet pretty enough to wear to wear to a special spring or summer event!
I like to build outfits around cute tops, this Wrangler peasant top definitely fits the bill! I love the pop of turquoise and pink against the white! Since it is finally nice enough to start wearing shorts I added these Carhartt Tomboy Shorts, I personally love the longer leg length and you have to admit they are pretty cute even for a tomboy! To complete the outfit pretty sandals are a MUST, just like these Roper sandals. The turquoise jewels helps to tie the look together perfectly!
I hope spring is well underway wherever you may be right now…..it is just starting to show itself around here after what is seeming like the longest winter EVER! Iit snowed all day here yesterday but the grass is trying hard to turn green and that is enough to make me smile!
Despite the chilly temps I was inspired today to put together a cute warm weather outfit. This one would be perfect for pretty much everyday wear but I was thinking weekend outing when I put it together. I’m lovin’ the dress and really need to get over my fear of them because there are SO many cute ones to choose from! I had to add the cute chocolate brown cardigan to throw over the dress because the dress alone was giving me the shivers! I am also diggin’ the blinged up sunglasses, aren’t they purty?
I lu-uve country/western inspired fashion so I though it would be fun to throw together an outfit while I was browsing some of my favorite online stores!
I fell head over heals for that printed dress from Panhandle Slim, I’m not sure I could pull it off but I am willing to try! Since spring isn’t exactly warm here I added the plain white cardigan for a little cover-up. I think this little get-up would be perfect for a spring weekend outing…..what do you think?
